Free film showing at FACT

Sanjuro poster

The University’s Visual Perception Laboratory and FACT cinema are offering staff a chance to see one of two classic action films absolutely free as part of a psychological study.

Participants will be invited to watch either Akira Kurosawa’s Yojimbo (1961) or its sequel Sanjuro (1962), two visually exciting and comic samurai films that were inspired by the American Western genre.

The screenings will take place on Monday 27 September and Wednesday 29 September and after each film participants will be invited to complete a short questionnaire which will be used as part of a research project.

To take part in the study, book your free cinema tickets here.
