To celebrate the first ever World Statistics Day, a team from the Department of Biostatistics will be visiting a local school with the Fun Maths Roadshow.
Year nine pupils from Neston High School, Wirral, will be taking part in an activity day where they will be introduced to the work of the Royal Statistics Society and attend a session on ‘bad science’, a workshop on poor and misleading presentation of statistics within the media.
