John Flamson, Director of Partnerships and Innovation, will lead a task force in a bid to resurrect a multi-million pound makeover of the city’s secondary schools.
Along with Max Steinberg, Chief Executive of Liverpool Vision and Lorraine Dodd, Director of city investment firm Rathbone, the three have volunteered their services to help shape and secure funding for Liverpool council’s rescue plan after the £350m revamp under the previous government’s Building Schools for the Future Scheme was axed.
The council is hoping to secure at least £175m government funding to replace ageing schools.
