The Financial Support team in Student Support Services is organising a clothes swap party.
Between Monday 25 October and Thursday 28 October clothes can be dropped off at the Student Support Services Reception – no clothes will be accepted after this time or on the day of the swap. A voucher will be given out for the number of items that have been accepted for the swap, which can be redeemed against items on the day.
On Friday 29 October staff and students who have a voucher can attend the clothes swap between 12 noon until 3.00pm. It will be held in the Seminar Room, Careers Service, first floor, Student Services Centre, 150 Mount Pleasant. All the remaining clothes will be donated to Claire House.
Maria Bird, Money Advisor, said: “The party will encourage money saving ideas, recycling and giving to charity all at the same time.”
