The Christmas Farmers Market is going ahead on Thursday 9 December.
Although it has been reported that the market was cancelled due to the threat of possible student protests, it has now been confirmed that the market will go ahead.
The market will be in University Square from 9am – 2.30pm and offers a range of locally-produced food including fresh fruit and vegetables and baked goods.
