The Victoria Gallery & Museum, in partnership with the Confucius Institute, is celebrating Chinese New Year, with special events celebrating the Year of the Dragon.
On Saturday 21 January, between 1-4pm, drop in to the Chinese Calligraphy Family Workshop to create a scroll with origami creatures. The event is free and all are welcome.
The Waterhouse Café will be serving an oriental soup with prawn crackers for visitors from 11am-2pm.
On Tuesday 24 January visit the Chinese ink painting adult workshop which will provide an introduction to the basic techniques of Chinese ink painting using brushes, ink and rice paper. Times of the workshop are 12-1pm or 1.30-2.30pm and booking is essential on 0151 794 2348.
An oriental special main course will also be on offer at the café on Monday 23, Tuesday 24 and Wednesday 25 January.
