An informative History of Convocation at the University has been written by a former member of staff.
Adrian Allan, who was Archivist at the University until 2008, has written A History of the Convocation of the University of Liverpool which draws upon the records of Convocation from the University’s Royal Charter of 1903 to the present day. Its production has been funded by a grant from the Friends of the University of Liverpool.
