The University regrets to report the death of Katie Daintith (née Ellison), a former nursing student at the University.
The School of Health Sciences has sent this tribute:
Katie graduated in December and was an excellent student who had a wonderful caring, compassionate nature, she would have been an asset to the nursing profession.
She had an admirable, positive attitude throughout her time at the University and during her illness. She was well-known for her beautiful smile.
Katie will be very sadly missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing this exceptional young woman.
