Hollie Dann, Assistant Conference Coordinator for the Foresight Centre, has been announced as the UK Meeting Industry Association (MIA) Rising Star for 2015.
The MIA List Awards recognise the individuals who inspire those around them, go above and beyond their role and have a positive impact on their business. The awards, including three Leadership, Rising Star and Innovation, name 10 winners on the final list who have made a difference to the meetings industry.
Hollie was shortlisted from 72 nominations from across the UK and met with three industry leaders during the judging process in July, and was chosen as the MIA Rising star 2015 at a glittering ceremony at the Park Plaza Riverbank in London.
Industry recognition
The judges’ commented that Hollie “takes lots of care in her job, has an edge to her and sees the potential of the industry with great ambition. Hollie has managed to take responsibility in her stride with great customer and team engagement.”
The award closely follows the Foresight Centre team being recognised for ‘Excellence in Business Tourism’ at the annual Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards.
