XJTLU partnership nominated for British Business Awards

Liverpool University and Xi’an Jiaotong have been nominated for Education Institutional Partnership of the Year at this year’s British Business Awards (BBA) 2016.

The nominations were announced by BBA Head Judge, and Chairman of the British Chamber of Commerce Shanghai, Barry Piper and award sponsors. The Educational Partnership of the Year is given to a UK institution who has established a joint project or projects with Chinese local partners that has delivered significant impact in the last 18 months.

The full shortlist for Education Institutional Partnership of the Year, sponsored by The British Council is as follows:

  • Xi’an Jiaotong – Liverpool University (Suzhou)
  • Bangor University / CSUFT (Hunan)
  • Coventry University / SWUPL (Chongqing)
  • University of Huddersfield/Sino British College (Shanghai)
  • University of Nottingham (Ningbo)

The BBA are held every 2 years and was originally established in 2008 Hosted by the British Chamber of Commerce Shanghai. The BBA has since developed into a significant event, recognising and promoting excellence in innovation, enterprise and endeavour, in the British business community in China.

The final award winners will be announced during the Gala Awards Dinner, held on 3 November 2016, in Shanghai.
