Careers & Employability: One-day closure to train students

The Careers & Employability Service will be closed on Tuesday, 17 April because staff will be helping more than 350 students prepare for assessment centres.

Students will be asked to deliver presentations and take part in a group exercise as part of their training, which is taking place at Anfield football stadium.

The simulated assessment centre forms part of students’ assessment for their Placement Preparation Module. The Careers & Employability Service have developed and delivered the module, in collaboration with the Management School, to aid the success of those students on degrees that include a year in industry.

20 staff from our Careers & Employability Service have been trained to deliver the activities.

If you have a query about how the closure may impact on you, please contact the Careers and Employability Service ahead of the closure on Tuesday, 17 April.
