Students and staff invited to launch of new University academic journal

Students and staff are invited to the official launch of a news University academic journal, entitled ‘Insider Imprint’, which will feature a diverse range of content from first year undergraduates to masters students based in the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences.

Insider Imprint is a Life Sciences journal run by PhD students, for undergraduate and masters students. The first issue of the journal was published in April 2018.

The journal helps to showcase the wide range of health related research taking place in a modern university and helps support early-career researchers and scholars.

Students and staff are invited to drop in for cake and coffee to help the editorial team celebrate the official launch of the journal.

The details of the launch are as follows:

Date:            Monday, 14 May
Time:            3pm-5pm
Location:     Foyer of the Life Sciences Building (Building number 215 grid reference F8 on the Campus Map) with short talks regarding the journal beginning at 3.30pm in Lecture Theatre 2.

The journal is released as a printed journal, and is also available online. Insider Imprint will be published once a year in the spring.
