Graduation Gallery: Top 10 photos from the week

Drones, dogs, dancing and one or two tears – we’ve had it all on campus this week. In our last article of the week, we just wanted to say thank you – the Class of 2018, you have been fantastic.

And, although you’ll be missed, we want you to know that graduation isn’t a goodbye. We’re here for you in the future too and would love to stay in touch. If you haven’t done so already,  check out your Class of 2018 website to find out how we can continue to support you in the years ahead.

#DogsofGraduation

The only way you can make Graduation even more of an occassion is by bringing along your favourite pet. This is definitely the fluffiest dog we’ve ever seen on campus #Dogtorate.

First-rate coordination

Gethin – one of our Sociology graduates – had the perfect shoes for his big day. Gethin is one of the University’s first students who studied in China for a year.

Birdseye view

We loved getting a birdseye view of the celebrations. Looking great, Class of 2018.

Congratulations to Paul May

Huge congrats to Paul May who received an honorary degree. Paul founded and developed the paediatric neurosurgical service based at Alder Hey, which is now the largest service in the country.

Penguin in robes

There was a lot of love for the #LivUniGrad penguin. We are slightly concerned about the whereabouts of her mortar board though.

Honorary degree for Judge Dredd artist

Fantastic to see comic book artist John Higgins receive his honorary degree.
