How amazing has Welcome Week been so far? We’ve certainly loved every minute and have really enjoyed seeing you on campus.

We’ve been out and about all week bringing you some of the best bits on social media. If you haven’t followed us yet, keep up-to-date with all things #LivUni by following us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram (LivUni).

Car’s packed

When you see a gazillion cars on the motorway packed so tightly that you couldn’t even squeeze another Pot Noodle into the boot, you know it’s moving-in weekend.

Friends enjoying the city

Welcome Week is all about settling into the University and into the city. This great group seem to have ticked off a lot of the landmarks already. 🙂

You’ve unpacked, you’ve waved your family off, got onto the University WiFi and you’ve met your flatmates. Next up? Decorating your room. Although we’re not confident in Gabe and Harry’s abilities to secure you a First, we sure do appreciate thier aesthetics.

R1’s Gregg James was on campus

Former student Gregg James was on campus this week answering students’ questions in the Guild. Gregg also popped in to see the LS Radio Station where he used to have his own student radio show.

For those not familiar, the VG&M stands for the Victoria Gallery and Musuem. It’s the red brick building in this photo, which is opposite University Square. The VG&M is the perfect bacdrop for all your University milestone photos. And if you haven’t heard, the building is also where the term ‘red brick university’ originates.

UoL spells…

High winds and some wet weather meant that our UoL letters were only out for a flash sadly, but at least we managed to capture them on camera.

New friends

You haven’t been here a week yet, but already lots of you are settling in and making new friends.

That view ♥

Whether you’re new to the city or have lived here all your life, this view never gets old. If you haven’t been for a visit to the top of Liverpool Cathedral yet, it’s well worth a visit for fantastic 360 views of the city.
