Design students invited to complete third year in London

Second year undergraduate design students are being invited to apply for our Design Year in London initiative, which allows students to study at our London campus during their third year.

Students studying Architecture, Industrial Design or Urban Regeneration and Planning can apply and you have until Friday, 14 December to express your interest.

Why study at our London campus?

The University of Liverpool in London campus is situated in Finsbury Square in the heart of the city’s design innovation district.

It is a fantastic opportunity to connect with industry and build meaningful contacts with London-based design firms, and experience the unique mix of cutting-edge innovation and unrivalled design heritage that London boasts.

You will be able to:

  • Develop an interdisciplinary design orientation in your final year of study
  • Boost your future career prospects and network of industry contacts in one of the world’s biggest employment markets
  • Enrich your learning with state-of-the-art virtual technologies
  • Work collaboratively with practitioners and academics from a range of disciplines who share a common interest in design
  • Develop your creativity and problem solving capabilities in ways that are highly desirable to employers.

If successful in your application, your qualification and learning outcomes will be unaffected by switching locations.

If you are interested in applying, please email our London Student Experience Team by Friday, 14 December with an expression of interest that outlines:

  • What you hope to learn and gain from this opportunity
  • What skills, qualities and interests you would contribute

Once all expressions of interest have been gathered, you will be invited to an event to find out more about the programme and confirm your application.

More information about the scheme can be found on our Design Year in London webpages.
