Next week, big name employers like the BBC, Lucid Games, Channel 4 and IBM will be coming to campus as part of The BigConnect – our new two-day careers conference.
What can I do at The BigConnect?
At The BigConnect careers conference you will be able to:
- Meet employers, including the NHS, trinity Mirror and Baltic Creative
- Explore different sectors within our interactive Career Lounge zones. Zones you can explore include: teaching, tech and digital, working and studying abroad, nursing and allied health, armed forces and emergency services, volunteering and charity, local small businesses, enterprise and entrepreneurship, creative industries.
- Connect with our alumni, including Dr Jaclyn Bell who starred on the BBC’s Astronauts: Do You Have What it Takes programme
- Attend workshops with Facebook that will enhance your digital skills; from social marketing through to search optimisation and user experiences
