Postgraduate Research Experience Survey now open

postgraduate students

Share your feedback with us by taking part in the Postgraduate Research Experience Survey – we want to know what you have loved about your time with us and how we can improve.

To say thank you for taking part in the survey, we’ll donate £1 to the University’s charities for 2019 on your behalf for each student who completed the survey. The charities being supported are Alder Hey Children’s Charity, Claire House Children’s Hospice and The Whitechapel Centre.

How do I take part in the Postgraduate Research Experience Survey?

All postgraduate research students at the University of Liverpool are eligible to take part. You will receive an email to your University address with a unique link, which will allow you to access and complete the survey.

What will I be asked?

The short survey, which should take 10- 15 minutes to complete, will ask you to share your views about resources, research skills, the research community and supervision.

Why should I take part?

The survey collects the views of research students at universities across the UK and we use your feedback to improve the learning experience and guide changes at the University.

What is the Postgraduate Research Experience Survey?

The Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (PRES), run by Advance HE, is the only UK higher education sector-wide survey to gain insight from postgraduate research students about their learning and supervision experience.

It is open until Friday 17 May. Please be assured that your responses will remain confidential.

For more information about the survey, please visit the Postgraduate Research Experience Survey webpage. If you have any queries about PRES, please contact Sarah Misson at s.j.misson@liverpool.ac.uk.
