Campus 5k Wellbeing Week 2017

Wellbeing Week starts today (7 May) with a packed timetable of activities to help students and staff to boost their health and wellbeing.

There are more than 50 free sessions and events taking place every day until Friday, 10 May including the hugely popular 5k Campus Run which is taking place on Wednesday lunchtime,  a falconry display in Abercromby Square on Thursday afternoon and stretch and restore yoga in the Sydney Jones Library on Friday.

Other events include:

  • Walking for health sculpture walk
  • Meet Bruno the Geography dog
  • Sport Liverpool’s inflatable run
  • Xbox breakout from revision
  • Green spaces on campus walk
  • Movie night
  • And many more…

Staff and students can make use of free access to the Sports and Fitness Centre between 7am and 4pm throughout the week. To take advantage of this offer you must sign up using this link and take your student card each time you use the facility. You will need to complete a health disclaimer the first time you visit which is available at the Sports Centre reception. A number of sessions have also been organised specifically for postgraduate research students including a session on Tuesday called ‘Postgraduate Students: What can we do for you?’ and the ‘Big PGR Quiz of the Year’ on Thursday 4-6pm in The Cellar, Liverpool Guild of Students.
