Jenny Tucker has been appointed Chief Operating Officer at the University of Liverpool after serving in the role on an interim basis since June 2018.
Jenny joined the Senior Management Team last year when she was appointed interim Chief Operating Officer, working closely with the Vice-Chancellor to provide strategic leadership to Professional Services.
Having previously worked at Keele University in a number of senior leadership roles, Jenny joined the University of Liverpool in 2014, taking on the position of Director of Facilities, Residential and Commercial Services. In this post she was responsible for a diverse portfolio including estates, a range of residential and commercial services, leisure facilities and the University’s botanic gardens.
While serving as interim Chief Operating Officer, Jenny has been a key figure in leading the University’s £1billion Masterplan Estate Strategy.

Jenny’s appointment follows an external recruitment process and takes effect immediately.
