University to host event to welcome local and commuter students to campus

As part of Welcome 2019, this year we are running an event to give our new local and commuter students the chance to meet others in a similar position before the start of their first semester.

The event, which has been designed by local students for local students, will take place on Thursday 12 September from 10am to 2pm in the Mountford Hall, Liverpool Guild of Students. It will provide students with specific information and advice for living off campus whilst studying, and current local students will be on hand to show new students around the campus and share their experiences.

During and after the event, students will be asked to use #LivLocal on social media to start building a community and make connections.
