The University offers a wide range of support for students to help them to make the most of life and their studies.

To mark World Mental Health Day, the team will be hosting a stall outside the Alsop Building on University Square where you can come along, grab a FREE CAKE AND A HOT DRINK and have a chat to one of our friendly advisors about Support Services at the University.

The event will run on Thursday, 10 October 2019 from 10am alongside the local farmer’s market on University Square.

Students can chat to Counsellors, Wellbeing Advisers and Mental Health Advisers who will be available to explain what is on offer and how students can access support if they need it.

You will also be able to find out more about the upcoming Student Mental Health Forum and Student Mental Health Survey, which launches on Thursday, 10 October.

Over the next few weeks we will be encouraging all students to try out the NHS’s Five Steps to Mental Wellbeing. Keep an eye on our FacebookInstagram and Twitter accounts as well as our Student News pages for ideas around how you can get involved.
