Get involved: Free digital skills sessions

Digital Coaches

Want to make sure your digital skills are up to scratch? Why not book onto our free digital skills sessions taking place across campus until the end of November.

The sessions will cover everything from digital marketing, to using WordPress and making the most of Google Analytics.

The aim of the sessions, which have been created following an in-depth analysis of the digital skills required by businesses in and around the Liverpool region, is to help prepare our students for work after University.

There are also some course specific sessions including Psychology, Architecture and Law.

The initiative is being led by the Careers and Employability Team and delivered by the University’s new Digital Coaches.

Each of the Digital Coaches spent 12 weeks on a summer internship meeting businesses across the Liverpool City Region, gaining new digital skills and qualifications, putting them into practice and finding out how digital is transforming the future workplace.

They have been recruited and trained thanks to funding from Office for Students (OfS) and a partnership with Agent Academy CIC, and will now be helping to share their knowledge and develop the digital skills of their peers.
