Download the latest version of the UoL Timetables App

To kick off the start of Semester Two, CSD have released an updated version of the Timetables App, v4.0, with a series of handy new features.

During the design process, student feedback was a key consideration. Kate Foulkes, UI and Mobile Development Team Leader (CSD), says: “From the new slide-out navigation to improved customisation, the key objective of this project was to create a more personalised and seamless experience for our users.”

Here are just some of the upgrades you’ll see in the app:

  • You’re in control

The app now allows you to customise your notifications and your view. You can choose what time you’ll receive notifications of clashes and back-to-back lectures. Additionally, you can view your timetable by month, year, or as a list.

  • Press play

Missed a lecture? Access your video library from the main menu in the app where you can see all your lecture videos in one place. If you’re looking for a lecture video from a little while ago and can’t see it, use the search bar to locate it easily.

  • How long until the Easter holidays?

About eight weeks. How did I know that? I just used the Term Dates section of the Timetables App. Use it to see all the semester, vacation and exam period dates for the academic year.

If you’ve already got the app on your phone, and you’re set up for automatic updates, you should be already enjoying these new features. If you haven’t got the app yet – download it now from your app store.

Timetables Web Application

In conjunction with the Timetables app overhaul, a new Timetables web application has been launched. Currently you can view your timetable in Liverpool Life, but you’ll now also be able to view it here. Just log in with your MWS username and password.

If you have any feedback on the new Timetables app and web application, please email servicedesk@liverpool.ac.uk. For timetable support and queries, please contact your School Office or visit the timetabling webpages here.
