As we head into at least another three weeks in lockdown, you may be starting to feel boredom kick in!

Adding a few online events and activities into your schedule will help to break up your time, try something new, and get together with family and friends ‘virtually’.

1. Virtual Pub Quiz – Hosted by Liverpool Guild of Students

2. English Conversation @ Language Lounge Online

Language Lounge Online is a virtual meeting-place where you can come and chat to other students, improve your English conversation skills or just say hello and ask a question.

3. VIRTUALCONNECT by Careers & Employability

An extension of the CareerConnect programme, VirtualConnect is a programme of remote events designed to help you stay connected with employers. This week’s line-up includes, Adobe, AirB&B, Grant Thornton, EY and a live PGCE Chat with EdgeHill.

4. KnowHow – Webinar – Preparing for Online Assessments

This webinar will explore ways to prepare for online assessments. This will include tips on putting together a study plan, using active study techniques, staying productive and avoiding distractions.

6. Twelfth Night

Each Thursday at 7pm (BST), the National Theatre will stream one play on its YouTube channel. It’s completely free to watch.  Don’t worry if you miss it: the production is available to re-watch for seven days on the same YouTube channel.

7. Spanish Breakfast @ Language Lounge Online

Come and join us for a virtual Spanish breakfast, coffee and chat. As well as a chance to practise your Spanish, there will also be tips on how to make a Spanish breakfast! All levels of Spanish welcome.

8. You don’t need to be ancient to do Tai Chi!

If you are interested in trying Tai Chi / Qi Gong classes, try this weekly class offered by Mark Pountney.  Foundation sessions last one hour and are suitable for all ages and abilities.
