All staff are invited to come along to the University’s online Canvas showcase events. Join the Canvas team on either Tuesday, 28 or Thursday, 30 April to discover just what the new virtual learning environment (VLE) has to offer.
From its mobile apps to its enhanced video and calendar tools, Canvas opens up a range of new opportunities to work, teach and connect in ways that just aren’t possible in VITAL, our current VLE. By coming along to a Showcase event you’ll be able to see Canvas in action and be inspired to join our growing Canvas community.
During the events, the Canvas team will tell you how you can become part of the Extended Pilot Phase and start using Canvas to support your teaching from Semester 1, 2020/21. Plus they’ll explain more about the Fundamentals and Advanced training events, as well as the 24/7, 365-days-a-year support available to staff and students from the Canvas Tier 1 Support Team.
Staff can stick around at the end of the showcase event as the Canvas team will be on hand to help with any queries you may have. You can also submit questions in advance too when you book your place on a showcase event.
