The Guild building may be closed at the moment but that didn’t stop the annual Guild Awards taking place last week to celebrate the outstanding achievements of students, staff and community members who go above and beyond to make Liverpool a fantastic place to study.
After a record number of nominations, invitees gathered together virtually on the Guild Instagram and Twitter channels as the winners of the Guild Awards 2020 were revealed.
The Guild team brought the magic of the annual Mountford Hall ceremony to living rooms all over the world to recognise the sustainability heroes, superstar course reps, amazing societies and individuals who embody the values of Liverpool Guild of Students.
Over the last year there have been incredible society collaborations, events, dedicated campaigns and innovative fundraising opportunities including the Gaming Society’s charity gameathon which transformed the Stanley Theatre into a gamer’s paradise; the Pre-Loved Swap Shop which created a greener shopping experience; and the Craft Fair which brought Christmas magic to the Guild.
