Subject: Important Information: Paying your Student Fees

Dear Student,

Welcome to the new academic year.

If you are required to pay tuition fees for your course of study it is important you confirm with the University how you are making your tuition fee payments.

You will also need to confirm how you are making your accommodation fee payments if you are staying in University accommodation.

If you have already paid in full for the year or set up an instalment plan and paid your first instalment for tuition fees, there is no need to take any other action at present. Similarly, if you have already paid in full for the year or submitted an instalment plan for accommodation fees (if applicable), there is no need to take any other action at present.

Your fees for tuition or accommodation may be paid by a sponsor, for example a Research Council, a government body (such as the NHS), or an Embassy. If this applies to you, you will need to provide us with the formal confirmation letter from your sponsor to confirm your payment arrangements. If you have already done this, you don’t need to do anything else at the moment.

If your tuition fees are paid by the Student Loan Company (SLC) and you are an undergraduate student who has received confirmation of your tuition fee loan from the SLC, you need take no action at present. If you are on a postgraduate taught programme and you are receiving a postgraduate loan from the SLC, we will be contacting you by the beginning of October with instructions for payment. If you are a postgraduate research student and you are receiving a doctoral loan from the SLC, you should provide the Fees team with your Doctoral Loan payment schedule upon receipt of your tuition fee invoice at feesenq@liverpool.ac.uk.
