Insider Imprint student journal launches new podcast series

Insider Imprint is a student journal for Life Sciences, brought to you by a team of University of Liverpool PhD researchers.

It offers undergraduate and master’s students a unique opportunity to publish work in an open access and peer-reviewed academic journal, all published on the Inside Imprint website for the world to see.

The journal features research articles and literature reviews, as well as shorter reflective pieces on work experience, hot topics in the Life Sciences, books, event reviews, and artwork.

The team have now launched a podcast, Insider Insights, offering the chance to join the editors as they chat with previous Insider Imprint authors. Hear from the students as they talk about their writing and get to know the story behind the article; what was the inspiration, and what publishing has meant from the student’s perspective.

Episode One features Megan Kerridge, a 3rd year Zoology student, and author of “Volunteering in Africa: Education, conservation and construction”.

In the episode, Megan shares her experience as a volunteer and her thoughts about publishing with Insider Imprint. Future episodes will feature recent graduates and professionals to offer insights into different career paths.

You can find the podcast on the Insider Imprint website and YouTube channel.

Happy listening!
