Bookings are now open for the 6th Pedagogic Research Conference which takes place online on Thursday, 14 January 2021.
The conference has become an increasingly popular event in the University calendar as it provides an exciting opportunity for academics to collaborate, build networks and share emerging scholarship with peers from across the institution and beyond.
As before, there will be a rich programme on offer including an exciting Keynote from Professor Sally Everett, of King’s College London, entitled ‘Inclusive Pedagogic Research: May the Force be with you’.
In this interactive and highly reflective session, Professor Sally Everett will be exploring how lecturers ensure their pedagogic research is truly inclusive and accessible. Sally will be addressing issues of how lecturers reflect the diversity of their students in their research, how they ensure more voices are heard, and how they remove barriers to participation.
Sally will also be encouraging attendees to think about what they can do as researchers to use their privilege to challenge bias, disrupt assumptions and make a positive difference for all.
