Motivation, stress and positivity workshops

This month we’re running a series of online workshops on motivation, positivity and stress as part of our Improving Student Mental Health through Partnerships Project.

The sessions are delivered by the Project’s Clinical Innovation Lead, and there will be guest lecture segments from experts within Mersey Care Trust.

The sessions are open to all students, whether you have lived experiences of the conditions covered or if you would like to gain a deeper understanding of the topics.

Motivation and Positivity

This workshop will consist of various topics surrounding motivation and positivity. Some examples of discussion areas include:

  • How to improve your confidence
  • How to reignite your sense of purpose
  • How to reframe difficult situations
  • How to learn acceptance
  • How to move forward from feeling stuck

Living with and Understanding Stress

This workshop will cover everything from taking control of stress to day-to-day mindfulness. Some examples of discussion areas include:

  • Biological and Psychological definitions of stress
  • Self-care in diet, sleep and exercise
  • How to take control
  • Problem solving
  • How to build on your resilience
  • Mindfulness
