Checking activities on your Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR)

Your Higher Education Achievement Record (HEAR) is a formal degree transcript that provides a full record of your university achievements.

It enables you to demonstrate your achievements throughout your time at university, including academic work, extra-curricular activities, prizes and employability awards, voluntary work and offices held in student union clubs and societies that have been verified by the University and Guild of Students.

You can view your activities by visiting your My Liverpool e-portfolio. Use the How to Access your e-Portfolio guide if you have any problems, and don’t worry if you don’t have any activities listed here – not everyone does.

If you do have activities in your e-portfolio, please check that the list is correct. Please note;

  • The University can only verify certain substantial activities, so if you don’t have any activities listed in your e-portfolio, don’t worry – this section will simply not appear on your HEAR.
  • The activity descriptions have been carefully worded to illustrate the main elements of the role/activity. Unfortunately, it is not possible to alter the description of the activity.

If your activity list is correct, you do not need to take any further action. However, if you have any questions, then please follow this FAQ which should answer them or direct you to the best person to help.

Any changes to your list of activities need to be highlighted to the activity owner listed by Friday 21st May.  Please note that not all activities are eligible to go on the HEAR at this point. The full list can be viewed here.

If you are due to graduate this Summer, you will soon be receiving an email that will ask you to register onto our University of Liverpool graduation portal. This portal will enable you to view your secure documents and share them with employers, third parties and other institutions, after your award has been conferred this summer.

Undergraduate and postgraduate taught degree students will be able to view electronic versions of their degree certificate and HEAR (Higher Education Achievement Report) through this site.
