Update: No further industrial action following April 2022 ballot

Students have been emailed today (17th May) in relation to industrial action which has been called at a number of UK universities over the coming weeks.

Following discussions with our local University and College Union (UCU) branch to share our concerns around what appeared to be material irregularities in the ballot processes related to the number of individuals entitled to vote, the University of Liverpool’s branch of UCU confirmed that they will not be calling industrial action in relation to their recent ballots.

This means that there are no strikes or boycotts currently planned at the University of Liverpool.
