Final deadline to choose activities for your HEAR

Volunteering University of Liverpool

All undergraduate and taught postgraduate students who are due to graduate this summer need to check their Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR) and confirm the verified activities listed by Friday 24 June.

Your HEAR is a formal degree transcript that provides a full record of your university achievements. It enables you to demonstrate your achievements throughout your time at university. This includes academic work, extra-curricular activities, prizes and employability awards, voluntary work and offices held in student union clubs and societies.

If your e-portfolio content is correct and you have five or fewer activities that you want to appear then you do not need to act further, as these activities will automatically be added to your HEAR and sent to you after you graduate.

If you have more than five activities (or want to remove any) then you will need to go to the HEAR 6.1 Choices box on Liverpool Life make those changes.

To deselect activities from your HEAR:

  • Go to the HEAR 6.1 Choices box on the front page of Liverpool Life.
  • Untick the box next to any activities you do NOT wish to appear on your HEAR.
  • Your choices will now be registered. You can close the webpage.

You can make changes to your selections anytime up until Friday 24 June when all HEAR information will then be locked and finalised ahead of your graduation.

Once you have graduated, you will be able to share your HEAR with potential employers and other universities, and it will remove the need to order and pay for additional copies of your transcript when applying for jobs or further study.

If you wish, you can also continue to access and use your My Liverpool e-portfolio after graduation to support your personal learning and professional development. If you would like to find out more and register to use this service, please read the Pebble Pad graduate account instructions.

If you have any questions or see any errors or activities that you did not participate in, please email myliv@liverpool.ac.uk
