The Design Your Future programme from the Careers & Employability team aims to support enterprising and entrepreneurial University of Liverpool students by offering expert advice and the chance to win financial support for innovative projects and new business ideas.
The programme consists of 10 virtual sessions, delivered weekly by entrepreneurs and industry professionals. Each session with follow the same format of 45 minute delivery, 15 minute Q&A, and a takeaway task for you to expand your knowledge and develop your idea.
At the end of the programme you can pitch for the chance to win a cash prize to help fund your business idea.
The winner of the competition will receive £4,000, with prizes of £2,000 and £1,000 for second and third place.
If you have an idea that you would like to bring to life, or an existing idea or business you would like to develop further, then the team would love to hear from you!
There is also funding available to help participants register their business with Companies House at the end of the competition, plus an additional opportunity to apply for seed funding to get your idea off the ground.
The Design Your Future programme is also HEAR Accredited, with students who attend a minimum of 7 sessions and submit a digital pitch gaining the HEAR award on their transcript.
