The University’s Student Services team is here to help you at every step of your wellbeing journey in Liverpool.

The services they offer range from formal mental health and wellbeing support, including counselling, through to help with disabilities, money, visa and immigration issues and more.

The team also provides more informal, relaxed sessions run by the Wellbeing Team, which are designed to promote good wellbeing in between your busy schedule of studying. Read on to find out more.

You can find Student Services in the Student Life Building on University Square. You can reach them by calling them on 0151 795 1000 or visit the Student Services website for information on how to book appointments.

Wellbeing activities

The Wellbeing team in Student Services organises weekly activities for students which are designed to help you have fun, and relax and take a break from the stresses of everyday life.

The team regularly updates their schedule of wellbeing activities – it might be useful to bookmark this page so you can revisit it when you feel like taking part in a session.

Weekly wellbeing activities to support your downtime

As a taster, here are just a few of the activities coming up this semester (all sessions take place in the Student Life Building unless otherwise stated):

🎲 Tuesday, 22 October (1pm-4pm) – Boardgames

🎃 Wednesday, 30 October (3.30pm-4.30pm) – Halloween crafts

🧶Monday, 4 November (2.30pm-4pm) – Granny Square crochet session

🎨 Wednesday, 6 November (3.30pm-4.30pm) – Paint by numbers

🧘 Wednesday, 13 November (3.30pm-4.30pm) – Relaxation and body scanning

Are your vaccinations up to date?
To keep yourself and other students safe, it’s important to check that your vaccinations against diseases such as measles, mumps and rubella, as well as meningitis are up to date.
