The Academy is delighted to announce the first annual Research Fellows Showcase, with the theme ‘Collaboration for Impact’ taking place on 26th March.
This full-day event will include research talks and posters from a selection of research fellows at the University, including from the first cohort of the University of Liverpool Research Fellows.
The Research Fellows Showcase provides an opportunity for fellows at the University of Liverpool to present their research to colleagues, build their profiles and networks within the University, and make connections with other fellows and research-related professional services staff from across the University.
Those attending will benefit from hearing about the ground-breaking research that is being conducted across the University and have opportunities to build their own connections with these future research leaders. There will also be stands from central research-related professional services teams, enabling attendees to identify who to talk to when looking for support with their research, funding, outputs, communications and professional development.
The Keynote panel consists of a selection of University of Liverpool researchers who have excelled in their fields in building and leading collaborations, chaired by Professor Georgina Endfield, Associate Pro-Vice Chancellor for the Research Environment and Postgraduate Research:
• Dr Wendy Asquith, School of Histories, Languages and Cultures
• Professor Matthew Baylis, Institute of Infection, Veterinary and Ecological Sciences
• Dr Andrew Hacket Pain, School of Environmental Sciences
• Dr Eva Vilella-Figueras, School of Physical Sciences
The showcase will also include a session led by Thrive, that will explore their findings on increasing diversity in research leadership and the opportunities presented by team-led working.
All staff are welcome to attend this event that aims to showcase and inspire our researchers, build connections, and celebrate excellent research impact.
