If you haven’t quite found your group yet, don’t worry—you’re definitely not alone. Joining a society is one of the best ways to expand your social circle in a fun, low-pressure environment.

Anime and Otaku Society
Love anime? Want to watch the latest releases with friends, go to cosplay conventions, or just chat about your favourite shows? Whether you’re a die-hard fan or have never watched an episode in your life, this society is for you! They’re all about making anime accessible to everyone—so don’t be shy if you’re new to it.
Most events are announced on their Discord server, so join in and get involved!

If you love good coffee and great conversation, this is the perfect society to meet new people in a relaxed setting. Whether you’re a coffee connoisseur or just looking for a chilled-out social group, Coffee Soc is all about bringing students together over a cup of something warm and delicious.

Student Scouts and Guides Society (LUSSAGO)
Love the outdoors, adventure, and making lifelong friends? Whether you’ve been a Scout or Guide before or just want to give it a go, LUSSAGO is all about fun, friendship, and the occasional camping trip.
They meet every Thursday at 8pm in the Guild, but they also organize plenty of trips and socials—so even if you can’t make it every week, it’s still worth joining!
