The assessment period will run from Monday, 12 May to Friday, 30 May.
Exam and assessment timetable
A reminder that your personalised exam and assessment timetable for semester two is available to view on our Timetable Portal.
Your timetable will not be emailed to you directly.
Your timetable is available in two parts:
- View all centrally-organised University exams – either online exams (up to 24 hours in length) or any in-person exams (in a room on campus) – on your personal exam timetable on the Timetable Portal, or by clicking on ‘Exam Timetable’ in the yellow Essential Links box on your My Liverpool
- Your School or Department will communicate information to you separately about locally organised assessments (online exam-style assessment completed over a longer timeframe up to five days), in-class tests, or coursework.

Look after your wellbeing
The formal exam and assessment season can be full-on, so let us help you look after your wellbeing.
To help you manage the next few weeks our Wellbeing team is putting on daily activities in the Student Life building on University Square, giving you access to mindful spaces and resources to help you relax, destress and enjoy a break from your studies.
Activities include origami, colouring, painting, crochet, knitting and board games, and students are invited in from 12.30pm to 4pm Monday to Friday during the three-week exam period (12-30 May).
The Guild and Sport Liverpool are also on hand to help you relax and unwind.

What to expect on the day
Knowing what to expect on the day of your exam(s) is hugely important as it will help you to enter an exam room feeling as prepared as possible, with no surprises.
It’s also critical that you know how to conduct yourself before and during an exam, so you ensure you’re following the rules of our Code of Practice of Assessment.

Not able to complete your exams and assessments?
Formal assessments are an essential part of your time at University and you are expected to complete all of your assessments. However, sometimes circumstances arise which may be beyond your control and we have clear processes to help you in this situation. If you experience any issues please get in touch with your School or Department Learning and Teaching Support Officer (LTSO). You can also find out more about extenuating circumstances on our webpages.
When can I expect my results?
Please note that your semester two exam and assessment results, and your overall year assessment results, will be available to view in the Results Portal from Monday, 30 June 2025. More details on when the portal will be live will be communicated nearer the time via the University’s social media channels and on Student News (My Liverpool homepage).
