We’re excited to announce that the University of Liverpool has been shortlisted as finalists in the Global Student Living awards.
In November 2024 and May 2025, we asked those of you living in halls about your experiences in the Global Student Living survey. Based on student feedback from across the UK and Ireland, we’re pleased to share that we’ve been nominated for ‘Best Environmental Management’, ‘Best Individual Property – Greenbank Student Village’ and ‘Best University Housing’.
The winners will be announced live at the awards ceremony in October 2025. You’ll also catch the results on GSL’s awards page.
In the meantime, we’d like to take the opportunity to thank our residents for completing the Global Student Living surveys. Your feedback not only helps us consider positive changes for future residents but has also resulted in three exciting nominations.
GSL Gold accreditation
As well as these nominations, we’re also pleased to share that our University halls have received ‘Gold’ accreditation from the GSL index. This is a reflection of the high standards of our accommodation offer across 7 key metrics: Condition & Quality, Bedroom, Value for Money, Care & Support, Recycling & Environmental Facilities, Overall Management and Internet.
More about the GSL Awards
The GSL Awards are based exclusively on direct feedback from tens of thousands of students across 200 universities and colleges every year. With no written nominations and no ‘expert’ judges, the Global Student Living Awards are uniquely credible and highly prized.
Data for the awards are collected through the GSL Index. Registration for universities and student accommodation providers to participate in the next wave of the GSL Index, is now open.
