High temperatures are forecast for Liverpool over the coming days, and an Amber Weather Warning is in place for Wednesday, 24 June and Thursday, 25 June.
Campus will remain open and operating as normal during this time, and student services will continue to be on hand as normal should you need to reach out to us for any reason.
To help keep you comfortable during the warmer weather, we will be monitoring conditions across our teaching and study spaces and we will take steps to manage temperatures where needed.
In the meantime, please continue to stay as cool and comfortable as possible by taking sensible steps such as:
- Drinking plenty of water – there are drinking water fountains available across campus
- Taking regular breaks, particularly if you are studying for long periods
- Using shaded and cool study spaces where available
- Wearing light, comfortable clothing appropriate for the weather
If you’re travelling to campus on public transport, please check timetables before you set off, as hot weather can sometimes cause delays. Latest advice and guidance on travel will be available on Arriva and Merseyrail websites.
