The, Liverpool Advantage hub is now available for you to use. It brings together a wide range of opportunities to help you develop your skills, prepare for your future and make the most of your time at the University.
From academic and digital skills to careers support, volunteering and sustainability opportunities, there’s lots available to help you grow your confidence, discover new interests and get ready for life beyond university. Liverpool Advantage will make it easier to find these opportunities and understand how they can support your goals.
Find opportunities that work for you
Liverpool Advantage brings opportunities together under three key areas:
Build Your Skills
Develop the academic, digital and practical skills you need to succeed at university and beyond.
Shape Your Future
Explore careers, employability and progression opportunities to help you prepare for your next steps.
Make It Count
Get involved in volunteering, sustainability and other opportunities that can support your personal development and help you make a difference.
Whether you’re looking to develop a particular skill, boost your CV, explore a career, meet new people or get involved in something you’re passionate about, Liverpool Advantage will give you a clearer way to discover what’s available.
Earn recognition for your development
A new Liverpool Advantage Award will also be introduced as part of the initiative.
The award will recognise the impact and achievements you make through your development activities, rather than simply counting the number of activities you take part in.
It will give you a way to demonstrate the skills and experiences you’ve gained during your time at Liverpool, helping you build a stronger story to share with future employers and other opportunities.
Skills, support and opportunities – all in one place
Liverpool Advantage will continue to grow, with more opportunities from across the University being added in future phases.
Look out for more information about Liverpool Advantage and how you can get involved from September.
