The YSM 2010 organising committee
The University played host to the 36th Young Statistician’s Meeting.
Organised by the Centre for Medical Statistics and Health Evaluation, more than 130 delegates from the UK, Europe, Africa and India attended the two-day conference specifically designed for, and organised by, career-young statisticians.
Opened by Director of the Centre for Medical Statistics and Health Evaluation, Paula Williamson, the conference programme included workshops, topical plenary speakers and a speed networking session and in the evening delegates had the chance to Ferry across the Mersey.
