Dr Sinclair
A National Teaching Fellowship has been awarded to Dr Anthony Sinclair from the School of Archaeology, Classics and Egyptology.
He received the award for his role in establishing scholarly approaches to the teaching of archaeology.
Dr Sinclair was instrumental in bringing the Subject Centre for History, Classics and Archaeology to Liverpool. The Centre, which is part of the Higher Education Academy, aims to provide support and development for learning and teaching across all three subjects.
The Teaching Fellowship award winners were chosen from nearly 200 nominations submitted by higher education institutions across England and Northern Ireland.
