The next Liverpool Cafe Scientifique meeting will be looking at the bizarre but very revealing errors children make with language.
Dr Caroline Rowland from the School of Biological & Developmental Psychology will discuss some of the often heated debates about what these errors tell us about language learning.
The talk – ‘”Mummy, why do the tape recorder don’t work?” – What children’s errors tell us about how we learn language’ will be held in the Old Book Room, Hope Street Hotel, Hope Street on Tuesday 12 October at 7.30pm.
