Start the year as you mean to go on!
Ness Botanic Gardens is taking part in the Liverpool City Council and Liverpool Primary Care Trust launch of the Decade of Health and Wellbeing.
From today until Saturday 22 January, staff can take part in a variety of activities focusing on physical and psychological health, fitness and wellbeing, with the emphasis on fun!
Taster sessions include yoga, shiatsu, Thai massage and the new craze, zumba dance. There will be talks on osteopathy and allergies and Nordic walking.
Kevin Reid, Director of Ness, said: “Ness has a unique environment which provides a real antidote to the modern pace of life, and plants are critical to nutrition and health. We are delighted to be supporting the initiative by inviting a series of health and wellbeing professionals to showcase how a visit to Ness can be good for your health!”
