The Director of the Institute of Irish Studies met with royalty at an historic visit to the Irish Embassy in London.
Professor Marianne Elliott met HRH The Prince of Wales who was accompanied by his wife Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, and a host of guests from the world of showbusiness, sport, media and representatives from the Irish community in Britain.
The Prince of Wales is the first member of the royal family to visit the embassy and was welcomed by the Irish Ambassador.
