A Cancer Support Centre, which helps prepare Radiotherapy students, has benefited from the generosity of University staff.
Members of the School of Health Sciences Social Committee have been raising money for Lyndale in Knowsley, in a variety of fun ways including a city centre treasure hunt, a photography competition and a pantomime.
Students regularly visit the centre to be shown around to discuss experiences of having radiotherapy, which they find helpful when understanding the patient’s point of view.
