Dr Peter Dangerfield, Senior Lecturer in the Institute of Translational Medicine, has been appointed President of the Liverpool Medical Institution (LMI).
The LMI has a long association with the University and is one of the oldest medical societies in the world, dating back to 1779. A multi-disciplinary and multi-speciality postgraduate level organisation, the institution exists to foster an environment for furthering medical education and knowledge.
