Professor Richard Bradshaw, from Oceans and Ecosystems in the School of Environmental Sciences, has been awarded the annual visiting guest Professorship at Lund University Centre for Studies of Carbon Cycle and Climate Interactions (LUCCI), in Sweden for 2011-2012.
LUCCI is an interdisciplinary centre that includes earth scientists, global ecologists, climatologists, chemists and physicists.
The centre is funded with a 10-year centre of excellence grant from a suite of national research councils and during his tenure, Professor Bradshaw will co-author a book called Millennial Ecosystem Dynamics with Professor Martin Sykes from LUCCI.
