As part of Liverpool’s ‘Light Night’, the University will celebrate with a talk by a local historian.
On Friday 13 May at 7pm, local legend Frank Carlyle will speak about ‘The History of Liverpool’, providing a fascinating insight into the Victoria Building itself along with social and architectural history around the surrounding city.
The talk in the Victoria Gallery & Museum’s (VG&M) Leggate Theatre will be followed by question and answer session. Tickets for the talk cost £5 and there will be an opportunity for a glass of wine and chat in the salubrious setting of VG&M’s Grand Entrance Hall.
